Simec Systems, part of Metsi Group, has taken further steps to strengthen its operations and support future growth. The Simec Systems business has been integrated into Metsi Oy in Finland and Metsi Eesti OÜ in Estonia. This structure makes full use of the group’s manufacturing capacity, expertise, and resources, while Simec Systems continues to operate as a distinct brand within Metsi Group.
As part of the ongoing development of the group, Juha Wermundsén has been appointed Managing Director of both Simec Systems and Metsi Group. Ville Volanen will continue as Chairman of the Board of Metsi Group and has taken a stronger role in sales and customer relations for Simec Systems.
The Simec Systems sales team remains unchanged in structure and continues to operate separately from Metsi Group’s other businesses. Customers can continue working directly with Nigel Harrison, Tommi Hykkyrä, and Ville Volanen for all Simec Systems products and projects.
Simec Systems remains committed to developing and delivering advanced cargo handling solutions and automated truck loading systems (ATLS) for customers worldwide. Our focus on innovation, product reliability, and customer support continues to guide our work as we expand in the growing ATLS market.
